Who We Are
Jeevan Jyoti Mahila Vikash Society (JJMVS) is a grassroots community welfare society established to enable rural and marginalized women to achieve social equity, educational progress, and sustainable economic self-reliance.
Rooted in village communities, the society functions as a democratic bridge connecting rural households with capacity-building training, functional literacy, and cooperative self-help structures that cultivate lasting local leadership.

Our Women’s Empowerment Approach
JJMVS believes that true empowerment is not top-down aid, but bottom-up agency. By organizing women into self-managed groups of 10 to 20 members, participants discover collective strength, establish savings habits, and gain confidence to participate actively in community governance.
Every initiative is grounded in local participation, ensuring programmes reflect the real needs and cultural values of village families.
Organization Structure Overview
A disciplined operational framework ensuring effective governance and ground accountability.
Governing Board
Institutional strategy, compliance adherence, audit oversight, and policy approval.
District Liaison Officers (DLO)
Inter-agency communication, district compliance, monitoring, and field operations leadership.
Block Level Officers (BLO)
Supervising cluster teams, training facilities, and local village stakeholder alignment.
Coordinators & Mobilizers
Cluster Coordinators (CC), Community Mobilizers (CM), and Bookkeepers directly supporting SHG members.
